Admittedly I do not spend as much time in the studio as I should. Although I am constantly thinking of my next project. I think they call that procrastinating…</p> <p>My latest posted picture (Weathering the Storm) is one I did several years ago; it is acrylic painted on wood, inspired by a bird outside of my balcony in the Mayan Rivera.</p> <p>A tropical storm was rolling in, the bird perched on a barren tree, shoulders hunched, do birds have shoulders? Sorg.<br /> The class was intense and rewarding, certainly inspired me to get back in my studio. I have been asked several times “Why I found the class intense”? After all isn’t art intuitive! My answer is; I have been called an intuitive artist, though learning new skills, techniques and mastering them is intense.
